The Story of a Photographer

Back in 2017, I decided to buy my first camera. You may be asking, what lead you to that decision? Well, in the realm of creativity, I am more musically inclined. I have been playing the flute for about 11 years now; however, I lack talent in the artistic realm. I cannot draw or paint to save my soul. At the time that I bought the camera, I was in my sophomore year of high school and I noticed how fast time was flying by. I wanted to learn a skill that can help people obtain something tangible that represents them and their growth. Through this lens, I am able to achieve that. You will notice that throughout my work, there are a lot of candid shots, these are my favorites. I love catching the beauty of a person when they aren't even trying because sometimes, we forget how naturally beautiful we really are. Overall, I look at my camera as a pen and myself as the journalist, documenting people's lives as we grow to show the true beauty that we each possess.
